Disclaimer: Donald P. Bellisario owns the characters, but things would be way different and less angsty if I did.

Summary: Drabbled missing scene from "The Mission." One hundred words exactly.

They are soldiers, this is war. Taking risks and making difficult decisions are just part of the job. Easier said than done, she now realizes. This isn't the first time Harm's flown a mission, but enemy forces were never lying in wait before. But he wants this badly and she won't protest.

"I'll be fine," he says.

"No heroics, Harm."

"You know me."

"I mean it."

"I'm coming home." He stares at her intently. "I promise."

She swallows her fear. She has a duty to perform and an example to set.

She never thought before how hard either could be.
